A spicy, citrusy chypre with petit grain, mergamot, nutmeg and black pepper and the spices of clary sage (considered by the romans to be a sacred herb) over a base of musk, amber and cedarwood.


Clary Sage, considered a sacred herb was prized for its invigorating and energizing properties. Emperor Nero had drops of the herb scattered over his troops before they rode into battle, bearing the standard of the Roman Eagle.
