All product pricing and Gifts with Purchase on The Urban Retreat Beautique may vary from our Salon locations. Given this, our Salons will not be able to price match with products found on The Urban Retreat Beautique and you will be charged the price found in store at our Salon locations.

Accuracy of content

We have taken great care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that the details, descriptions and prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing. However, we will only accept orders if there are no material errors in the description of the merchandise or its price as advertised on this website. All prices are displayed including VAT and exclusive of delivery charges. The total cost of your order is the price of the merchandise ordered including VAT at the current rate and delivery charges as set out in the delivery options section of this website.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colour of the products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your personal computer equipment, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the merchandise on delivery. We are not responsible for the content of any off-website pages or any other websites linked to or from this website. Links appearing on this website are for your convenience only and are not an endorsement by us of the content, products, services or suppliers connected therewith.

All images of products on this site are purely for graphical representation only. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information, we accept no responsibility for inaccurate images of products or images differing from actual products received.

Availability

All items are subject to availability.  Validly stated prices on our website remain in effect for so long as the merchandise is available or as otherwise stated on our website.  We do not hold back orders for unavailable merchandise and we will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. All offers and promotions are available while stocks last.  If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available in stock, we will inform you as soon as possible and refund or credit any sum paid by you.

There will be some times when your access to The Urban Retreat Beautique website is restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or improvements. If you find a fault, please let us know by contacting enquiries@Beautique.com

Placing an order

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our website, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.  Please note that a credit or debit card is required at this stage.

Ordering errors

You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on “Process My Payment” on the final page of our ordering process.

Acceptance of your order

We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge receipt of your order and to provide you with an order number. If we are unable to fulfill your order following this acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone advising you of this.

If an item is out of stock, the website will not let you order this item.  Our acceptance of your order will take place upon payment for the product(s) ordered. If you require any information concerning your order please email us at enquiries@beautique.com quoting your order number. We reserve the right not to accept your order if we have identified a product or pricing error or if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment. Please remember that once we accept your submitted order for merchandise on this website, there will be a legally binding contract.

Payment

The price of our products is as shown on our website. The total price, including delivery, will be shown at the ‘checkout’ prior to submitting your final order. If, by mistake, we have under-priced a product, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling your order.  If you cancel, we will refund or recredit any sum paid by you.

All our prices are in UK pounds.  We accept all major credit cards.  Payment will be debited and cleared from your account at the point at which your order is dispatched.

Credit Card Security

 All credit/debit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed, using 128 bit SSL encryption to secure the transaction between us and the user. All data is then passed directly to the Barclays MPI ePDQ payment engine again using 128 Bit SSL encryption and is stored within a Barclays Group Security approved infrastructure.  The card number details are never stored by The Urban Retreat Beautique, providing added security.

Your credit card company may also carry out security checks to confirm that your order is genuine.  If the issuer of your payment card refuses to pay or does not for any reason authorise payment to The Urban Retreat Beautique, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of merchandise. Risk in the merchandise transfers to you upon delivery.

All orders are subject to our own security and credit card verification procedures.  Urban Retreats Ltdreserves the right to withhold any order that has failed to be verified.  Should there be any problem with verification of your card details you will be notified during your payment transaction being cleared by Barclays ePDQ and then by email.

Protecting Your Security

To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Delivery

Should you require a faster delivery service you may select alternative delivery options at "checkout" prior to confirming your order.

Packing and Delivery charges are:

  • UK First Class delivery £3.50 (1-3 working days)
  • UK Courier Delivery (Guaranteed next day) £5.95 Only available when ordering before 2pm Monday-Thursday. Not available on fragrance products.

We also deliver internationally. The charges for Europe are as follows:

All orders over £35.00 are RECORDED and this delivery service requires a signature so please specify an address where someone will be able to sign for your parcel. 

Reasonable allowance should be made for orders made over the weekend and at National Holidays. We do our best to deliver within 30 days of the date of your order but if we cannot do so we will inform you as soon as possible and you will be entitled to cancel the order.  If you do so we will refund or re-credit any sum paid by you.  We shall not be liable for loss occasioned by any reasonable or unavoidable delay.

*Unfortunately due to international delivery restrictions out of our control we are unable to ship perfumes, aerosols or nail polish outside of the UK.

Returns Policy

Returning Unwanted items

For hygiene reasons we can only accept returns on items that have not been opened*, used or tampered with. All UK returns must be received back at our warehouse address within 30 days of the date your order shipped from us (that's the date and time you received your dispatch email). For international orders, packages must be received by our warehouse within 60 days of the date your order was shipped from us. Please email us at enquires@beautique.com notifying us that you intend to return the items to us. You must return the products to us at the time of cancellation and we will credit your credit/debit card with the price of the products within 30 days after we have received the notice of cancellation. We will notify you by email once your refund has been processed. We regret we cannot refund any of the original packing and postage costs however we do include a postage stamp in all our UK orders so returning is free and easy, for international orders our policy is slightly different, please contact our customer service team at enquires@beautique.com to advise you on the best return method.

*Due to health code regulations all Vicki Ullah hair pieces cannot be returned or exchanged. Any items returned to us will be discarded and no refunds or exchanges will be issued regardless of condition or packaging.

Damaged or Faulty Items

We take great care in packing our orders to ensure items are received in the same condition as they leave us. On the rare occasion damaged or faulty items are received it is our intension to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Please contact at enquires@beautique.com if you consider the item you have received is damaged or faulty and where possible please provide an image. We will then advise on what to do next.

Refunds

To return an item to us, please use the returns form that was included in the documentation you received with your order. Please include your details including your name, email address, the order number and the reason for the return. Please ensure that any returned goods are properly packed to avoid breakages. You should return products to Returns Department, Urban Retreats Ltd, Unit 5, 3 St Leonards Road, London, NW10 6SX, UK, enclosing the returns form. Please return your package by recorded delivery (retaining your recorded delivery receipt as proof of postage) using the pre-printed shipping label supplied with your order documentation. Wrong Item Received

On the rare occasion that the wrong item has been sent to you please contact our customer service team at enquires@beautique.com, it is our intention to resolve this matter as quickly as possible and we will advise you on returning the wrong item to us so we can swiftly send you the correct one.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). You are responsible for all activities and orders that are submitted using your password. If you think anyone else has your password, please let us know so that we can cancel it.

We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly to provide you with the best possible service.  When you make a purchase from our website, we collect certain personal information from you – for example and not limited to, your name, email address, payment address and details.  All such information is held on our secure servers. 

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will not pass your e-mail address to other trusted traders unless you agree.  We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

Competitions

In order to be entered into any of our online competitions all entries must adhere to the house competition rules. Entries will only be accepted if the competition requirements have been filled out. Entry requirements will change depending on the competition but usually we will expect entrants to provide an answer to a question, their name, and email address. All competition entrants will automatically be added to the beautique.com newsletter mailing list, by entering the competition all entrants agree to this and have the option of opting out via the opt-out button on the first email sent to them. Winners will be picked either according to the individual competition rules or at random. Prizes will only contain what is listed in the competition description and nothing else. In the case where beautique.com are no longer able to provide the prize, the winner will be provided with an item that matches the value of the original prize. Travel costs of prizes will only be provided if declared in the competition’s description.

Twitter Competition Rules:
1. Users with ghost accounts and several different accounts they enter from will be ineligible to win
2. Users posting the same tweet repeatedly will be ineligible to win
3. Only entries using the relevant hash tag are eligible to win
4. All users entering must comply with the full Twitter Rules

The Urban Retreat Beautique may withdraw any part of the website, or may refuse you access to the web site at any time if we consider it necessary.   We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and we encourage you to review them as often as possible. Any changes are effective immediately upon posting to the website.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be decided only by the courts of England (or any other part of the UK were you reside). Any contracts between you and us are concluded in English.

The purchase of merchandise through The Urban Retreat Beautique website is strictly limited to parties who can lawfully enter into and form contracts on the website in accordance with English law.
