Jean-Charles Brosseau first made his name designed hats and accessories for houses such as Hermes, Kenzo and Sonia Rykiel. After launching his own signature brand of accessories, the progression into fragrance was natural and he desired a fragrance that would last from early morning until late at night. A chance encounter brought him face to face with the fragrance that was to become Ombre Rose; a feminine and sensual floral with notes of honey, peach, vanilla and musk. First launched in 1981 it was an instant sell-out. Women fell in love with this great classic, an enduring, elegantly 'French' scent dressed in a timeless bottle. After a long absence due to a conflict regarding the original formula, Ombre Rose has been re-introduced to the fragrance world to the delight of it's many devotees.
