Medical Aesthetician

Primary Objective

To carry out Medi-Spa treatments to the highest professional standard and in line with Urban Retreat guidelines with due care, attention and sensitivity to patients needs. Maintaining and delivering superior customer service and aftercare. To comply with all standards set by the Health Care Commission. To ensure a daily consent is signed and explained with every procedure performed record cards are completed in detail log book is filled in after every treatment.

Essential Skills

• Qualified to a CIDESCO ,CIDBTAC or NVQ LEVEL 3 in Beauty Therapy
• Previous laser experience.
• Fluency in English, communication and relationship building skills
• Demonstrate excellent time management and organization skills
• Excellent people skills - Enthusiastic and driven
• Consistently deliver a high standard of treatment and hygiene
• Ability to interact and understand clients needs and ability to provide unsurpassed customer service
• Ability to think and respond quickly to problems at hand
• Maintain professional appearance, behaviour, integrity to guest and fellow employees
• Ability to work cohesively with other employees as part of a team
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guests.
• Ability to work evenings ,weekends, public holidays, when business requires
• Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
• Achieve a 20% retail target against service targets

Desireable Skills

• Ideally 2 years experience within a Medi-spa environment.
• Preferred experience in: Semi-permanent make up, medical tattooing, Radio frequency, Micro dermabrasion, Ear piercing and skin peels
• A strong client awareness and focus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to continuously stand, walk or bend
• Ability to lift objects up to 10kg
• Ability to do repetitive movements such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, ascending and descending stairs
• Use of hands, fingers, forearm and entire body to provide body massage treatment which is continuous
